We’re a small, Australian production house created out of necessity - combining the strengths of a technology based, visual effects storyteller and an experienced documentary filmmaker.

As an official partnership we have opted to become an official entity - The After Effects Of Premiere (AEPR).

Meet the team


  • Co Founder | Producer | Editor | VFX

    James is skilled in VFX and animation with a side passion of editing. His background in tech and his creative skills comes together is his edits.


  • Co Founder | Producer | Director | Cinematographer

    Michelle has a background in documentary filmmaking and photography and is passionate about compelling visual storytelling. Her photography is what started her journey in documentary.

We believe all content has the capability of having high production value as well as a compelling story. Our content first value ensures we consider what our audiences are saying, holding ourselves to a high standard, and not taking orders from stakeholders and investors.

ETHICAL

During production, we are considerate of the story as well as the participants of the film ensuring that all are accurately represented. We do this by holding ourselves accountable and constantly have open conversations with our cast and crew.

MEANINGFUL

All films and content we produce comes with an intended purpose. In our research and development stage of any production we always ask the question: “What is the purpose of this story?” We want to leave an impactful and purpose driven legacy behind.

Maintaining a Safe and Supportive Work Environment: Our Zero-Tolerance Policy

At The After Effects Of Premiere, we prioritize the well-being and safety of our team. To ensure a workplace that fosters respect, collaboration, and support, we have implemented a zero-tolerance policy regarding any form of abuse directed towards our staff, whether it's direct or indirect or via third-party relationships through working with our clients.

We firmly stand against any behavior that compromises the safety, dignity, or physical/mental well-being of our team members. As such, we want to make it explicitly clear that a breach of this policy will result in termination of any contractual agreement.

This zero-tolerance policy is also a non-negotiable requirement for every client we engage with. We are committed to leading a truly supportive environment that is free from any form of mistreatment or abuse.
